I'm just gonna say that I've been sketching a bit more, having fun with it and not being embarrassed about posting "bad sketches".

But I also wanna post more art to my gallery. Cause I'm always posting it to my art thread in the forum. I'm just not making finished pieces as regularly as I used to.

I know that there's an option for posting to your gallery where you can flag it as a sketch, but I've never tried it so idk if that's the right way to go around it. Honestly don't even know what sketches are good for posting to my gallery and which are better for the art thread.

I'm in general not sure how to approach art on the internet anymore, at least for now. So if you have any (gentle) suggestions, please send them my way.

I came back home today to find a message saying that I got scouted into the art portal. I'm so happy about this, this means a lot to me, so I wanted to say thank you.

The scouting system on here is really my favorite thing ever in an art platform. Why? cause it's not an algorithm that decides that i'm worthy of being seen, it's other fellow artist. That's THE validation I was needing. Seriously, thank you.

I'm still working on my art, I may post finished pieces very slowly, but I'm definitely sticking around. I work slowly (more like in very short bursts, but still) so I can't promise a set or regular posting schedule. At this point I'm trying to heal my artistic identity, as I went through several difficult periods in my life and had to rethink if I wanted to pursue art or not. For now I'm just creating for myself and sharing my cringe creations as I go whenever I feel like it. Lots of self indulgent comfort cringe type of stuff, you know, the fun stuff!

That being said, I do have commissions open in case anyone would like to have some art of mine. Please consider checking that out.
